The Birth of Christ - Day 23 Scripture Writing

Hello, everyone. Today I would like to share my scripture-writing journal page for December 23. These verses continue on in the Gospel of Matthew from yesterday's page (Day 21-22).

Matthew 1:22-25 describes the fulfillment of prophecy regarding Jesus' birth, stating that Joseph took Mary as his wife as commanded by an angel, abstained from intimacy until she bore a son, and named him Jesus, fulfilling Isaiah's prophecy of the virgin birth and the name Immanuel ("God with us"), which I wrote about on Day 1. This passage highlights the divine nature of Jesus' conception (through the Holy Spirit) and Joseph's faithful obedience, presenting Jesus as the promised Messiah.

I adhered the following printables from my digital stash to make my page more interesting:
  • Illustrations - Deanna's Printables Facebook Group
  • Scripture Word Art (2) - Word Art Wednesday
  • Title Square - Self-made in Word
  • Label - Antique Images
  • Number - Vintage Glam Studio

I use the Authorized King James Version of the Bible to write scriptures.
