Anchor Thinking of You

Hi, everyone!  I mentioned the other day that my Mom had requested some thinking-of-you cards to have on hand when needed, and here's another one.  She liked the nautical theme for a man.

The anchor image is part of the Smooth Seas set from Beccy's Place.  I used the pre-coloured version, fussy-cut, and adhered it to cream vellum.  The nautical paper was a scrap, not sure of the maker.  I stamped a sentiment, fussy-cut, and adhered with foam tape.  Lastly I adhered black gems at the four corners of the vellum.  It's a great way to hide the glue!

I would like to join the following challenges:
Beccy's Place September AG with Beccy's image UE
Crafts Galore Encore September AG 2/3
Crafty Calendar September AG 2/3
The Paper Funday AG with Thinking of You 2/6
Word Art Wednesday 559-560 AG w Uplifting Sentiment wk2 2/5

Thank you for looking at my card!  Wishing you a peaceful day!

  8. Love the paper Kitty, it's absolutely perfect for the image and gives the background a lot of interest. Great idea to mount the image onto the vellum so you can still see the pattern beneath. Love it!
    Cheers,
