Tea's the Season to be Jolly

Hello, everyone!  I have another holiday card to share, and this time it's all about tea!  I managed to sneak in a little gingerbread cookie too!  I went with non-traditional colours just for fun!


My card features Your Next Stamp Holiday Tea Stamp Set, Your Next Stamp Snowflake Border Die, Your Next Stamp Ric Rac Border Die, and the little gingerbread man cookie from Your Next Stamp Sweet Holiday Greetings Stamp Set.  I stamped and coloured all the images with markers and then fussy-cut so I could pop them up on foam tape.  The purple panel is dry-embossed with Taylored Expressions Winter Flurry.

My card was inspired by the sketch over at Your Next Stamp Challenge 172:

    Nice interpretation of the sketch and loving the colors... so bright and pretty. Looks like a fantastic tea and/or chocolate setting... yum. Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble.

    The non-traditional colours are definitely fun Kitty, I agree. Love the snowflake border along the top, it coordinates perfectly with the embossing. The images are super cute! I love all the detail on the teapot and teacup, and the gingerbread man is super sweet.

    Oh, WOW!! LOVE the non traditional palette and the fabulous design, the sketch you choose is just adorable with the ric-rac and the top border that matches the embossed background! I have to remember this idea! :D
