TMS 558 - Tuesday Morning Sketches

Hello, everyone!  We have a new sketch for you this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches, and I hope it will inspire you!  I decided to make a card for a man.

This gorgeous Great Horned Owl was designed by Donna Ellis at Creative Smiles, and I won the set from her a couple months ago (thank you, Donna!).  I fussy-cut one of the pre-coloured images so I could pop it up on foam tape.  Behind the owl is a stitched oval die-cut.  The kraft background was die-cut with a stitched wood-grain pattern.  I added some die-cut tree branches according to the sketch and finished the card with a stamped sentiment.  I couldn't resist a Great Horned Owl pun, so the sentiment reads, "Wishing you a Great day!"

Here's our Sketch 558, designed by Melissa, and I rotated it clockwise.  I'm looking forward to seeing what you make!

  20. I love that image - it is so realistic! This is a fabulous masculine card, something I really struggle to create. The lighter colour choice behind the owl really shows off the details.
