Bee-utiful Day and Bee Happy (2 cards)

Hello, everybody!  Today I'm sharing two bee-themed cards!  I am a big fan of bees as they are so important to our food supply.

Card 1

Card 1 features a bee image from Gecko Galz What's the Buzz Collage Sheet.  I used a number of dies; namely: Simon Says Stamp Small Hexagon Cluster Die, Nellie's Multiframe Circle, Simon Says Stamp Stitched Squares, and Gina Marie Designs Stitched Rectangle. The patterned papers are from Tell It to the Bees 6x6 paper pack. I stamped a sentiment from Jane's Doodles and embellished with a number of black sequins. My card design was inspired by Creative Sketchy Girls - Challenge 46:

Card 2

Card 2 features a bee image from Gecko Galz What's the Buzz Collage Sheet, which I die-cut with Memory Box Pinpoint Rectangle Layers.  The patterned papers are from Tell It to the Bees 6x6 paper pack.  I added a die-cut Simon Says Stamp Small Hexagon Cluster, stamped a sentiment from Your Next Stamp, and embellished with a few black sequins.  My card design was inspired by Sketch Saturday Week 602:

  25. Wow! Beautiful cards, Kitty! The papers are so pretty and your interpretation of that sketch is perfect. I am also a fan of bees... as long as the hive is not on my porch. We have a honey farm nearby and they will safely remove the bees without destroying them. Thank you for playing along with us at Double Trouble #52.

  26. What a great assortment of design papers for your background, they are stunning. Love both of your cards and the bees look so real. Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble and Bitten By The Bug. Back about three years ago we had a queen bee decide to bring her whole army and they settled under eave of the patio...thousands of them. A Bee tender came over and hung a pail, left and said he would return, but before he returned all that had collected in the pail flew back out, and the next day heard that a neighbor down the street had the same problem. So think they just flew across our wall and into another person's yard. It was awesome seeing them take residence here in just minutes; but scary that there were so many. I was able to get great pictures.
