TMS 542 - Tuesday Morning Sketches

Hello, everybody! Before I get started, I would like to welcome my newest follower - Krazy Krafties - thank you for joining me!  If you could please leave a link to your blog in the comments, I will hop over and follow you too!

It's Tuesday so that means we have another sketch for you at Tuesday Morning Sketches!  We continue with the Design Team choosing their favourite sketches from 2019, and this week Patti has chosen TMS 512, designed by Melissa.  It's a fun sketch, so I hope you'll be inspired to join us!


I decided to make another winter holiday card!  This adorable kitty image is Bugaboo Stamps - Meowy Christmas. I always enjoy images with three cats because I like to colour them to look like our three cats!  I used markers and then fussy-cut so I could pop up the image on foam tape.  I also added Star Dust Stickles to the kitty's hat.

Behind the kitties is a little snowy hill, die-cut from white glitter cardstock with Poppystamps Stitched Landscapes. I adhered snowflake-patterned paper for the sky. I die-cut a scalloped stitched rectangle (Waltzingmouse Stamps) from red glitter cardstock to frame the kitties, and added two die-cut banners per the sketch. The patterned paper is from Echo Park I Love Winter. The white panel has been embossed with Die'sire Embossalicious Let it Snow, and I stamped a sentiment from Poppystamps Cup of Cheer, colouring the heart with a red marker. I outlined the white panel and the banners with a silver paint pen.

    This is so purr-fect, Kitty! I love the silver lining that makes the red jump right off the page. You have a very steady hand. Not sure mine would look so good. But I love this!

    Hi dear kitty! The sketch is so lovely and your version looks just adorable!! Such cute cats, they look really as your own furry friends trio! :D Love the glitter frame and the banners! It's a great design, red and white is always a great choice for Christmas and the embossed base adds more elegance!

    That kitty on the right captured my heart. Fabulous coloring and adding the stickles are adorable. I should read the blog post/description. I missed the snowy hill but now I see it. I love the sentiment. It could be used for cards of all occasions. Fabulous card.
