Peace on Earth

Hello, everybody!  Today I'm sharing a winter holiday card!  I'm having fun with Beccy's Place and her annual Month of Holiday Cards!  It's an Alphabet Challenge, and I'm jumping ahead to "P" for Peace!

I made the background a while ago with Distress Inks and the watercolour ink smooshing technique. As for the beautiful die, I do not know the brand as I received it in friend mail. The embossing folder is Taylored Expressions Winter Flurry, and I stamped a Peace on Earth sentiment with Simon Says Stamp Hot Mama ink.

I CASE'd my own card from last year:

I would like to support the following 7 challenges, for a total of 8:
Arty Divas AG 4/5
Carlin's Kaartenparadijs Christmas plus Homemade Background 2/3
Christmas Kickstart #23 Snow 2/3 C8
Crafty Catz AG Optional Christmas 1/3
Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas AG Optional Use a Button(s) UE
DL.ART November Linky UE 1/d
Virginia's "Show and Share" November 1/wk 1/4

Thank you for looking at my card! Wishing you a joyful day!

  1. I remember this card from last year Kitty, it was so beautiful. It's really the amazing inky backgrounds behind the die cut panel that makes these cards so special. Your mix of colours reminds me of the night sky with a beautiful aurora flaring brightly. Absolutely beautiful!
    Cheers,
    Beccy
