Merry and Bright Snowman

Hi, everybody!  I'm still going strong with my holiday cards!  Today's card was inspired by Christmas Kickstart #23, which has a theme of snow!  I'm also playing along over at Beccy's Place in her Month of Holiday Cards!  It's an Alphabet Challenge and Day 14 is "L" so I followed Beccy's example and went with L for Layers.


The adorable snowman image is from Beccy's Place Snow Drifters, and the sentiment is from the same set.  I went with the pre-coloured image, fussy-cut, and popped it up with foam tape.  I printed the sentiment on blue cardstock and used it as a grounding spot for the snowman. I die-cut the background with a snowflake die, and I used my Recollections snowflake punch to add a few blue snowflakes.

    This is one of my most favourite colour combinations Kitty, I love the contrast between the blue, white and brown. Great idea to cut snowflakes from the white mat to allow some of the kraft to show through. And they are really gorgeous shapes. Love the simple strip of blue card stock you used for the sentiment panel. Fabulous!
