Winter Deer

Hi, everyone!  Happy 2019!  Here is my first card of the year.  I'm starting early to meet my goal of making at least two holiday cards a month.  One down, one to go!  Here I did some stamping, heat-embossing, dry-embossing, die-cutting, and fussy-cutting!


Stamps:  Deer (Paperbabe Stamps Reindeer Fusion), tree (STAMPlorations Trendy Christmas Trees), snowflakes (Paperbabe Stamps Peaceful Flurries)
Ink:  Versamark, Your Next Stamp Holly Berry Red, Ranger Archival Emerald Green
Dies:  Sentiment (STAMPlorations Warm Winter Wishes Phrase Die - CUTplorations - I trimmed off the two smaller words), tags (My Creative Time, My Favorite Things)
Ribbon:  DL.ART White as Snow
Embossing folder:  Darice Snowflake Background
Other:  Ranger white embossing powder, white snowflake sequin added to bow

I was inspired by the inspiration graphic at Paperbabe Stamps Challenge 89:



I was also inspired by the All About Winter theme at STAMPlorations TAGplorations January challenge, although I did not use the optional texture paste.  Here's the graphic:



Also joining a brand-new monthly challenge at ITD Creative Playground!  The theme is Anything Goes with any vendor's stamps/images:

    Happy New Year my dear friend! This card is gorgeous!!! How many different technique!! Love the traditional colours and the sweetness you achieved on this card! The deer is so cute and elegant and the little tag with the stylized tree is a great addition!
    I have a lot of mess in my craft room after Christmas, I have to clean before the school beginning again but I think I will follow your exe4mple making still some Christmas cards :)

    Kitty, wonderful first card of the year and great Christmas card. That's a terrific goal. I'm so sorry that I have been MIA and just didn't get any Christmas cards mailed out this year. You are just too sweet. I have been in my own little world, but thanks for being such a supportive friend.

    Marvelously done, Kitty! Love the snowflakes, both as embellies and in the embossed background. A great range of wonderful techniques in making it, too.     Gorgeous card Kitty! the deer is fabulous! I thought that was a die cut at first, so perfectly stamped and embossed! the colours and layering are so beautifully done too, altogether stunning! :-)

    Your card is so lovely and festive. I too make cards all year round and there is still a slight scramble at the very end as I find myself a few cards short :-)
