Holiday Card 17 - O for Owl

Hi there!  It's me again!  Here's my third card as promised!  We've received a winter storm alert for tomorrow, with snow and ice pellets, so I'm sharing my cards now in case we lose our power.

Today I'm sharing another holiday card!  Inspiration has come from the alphabet prompts over at Beccy's Place - she is having her sixth annual Month of Holiday Cards Challenge. Thank you, Beccy, for the daily inspiration!  I'm jumping ahead to Day 17, which should be "O", and I went with Owl.

The cute owl image came from a holiday matching card game (Dollarama).  The patterned paper is from Basic Grey Aspen Frost 6x6 paper pad.  I used a sentiment stamp, doily die, and red snowflake sequins from my stash.

I was inspired by Sketch 539 at Sketch Saturday:

I would also like to support the following challenges:  Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper November UE; Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas AG Optional Use a Button UE; Just Keep on Creating November AG UE; Word Art Wednesday AG w Uplifting Sentiment 4/5 wk2

Thank you for looking at my card! Wishing you a joyful day!

  5. I hope the storm isn't too bad for you Kitty, "ice pellets" sounds rather destructive. I'm guessing it's a bit like hail?
Gorgeous card, the owl you used is so cute... love his spotted pants. I also like the way you've tucked the die cut doily behind the patterned paper. Well done!
    Cheers,

  7. Super cute Owl card, great use of the sketch and that doily, Fabby job and great you are keeping up with the holiday challenge. We are getting snow, it's a couple of inches deep right now, it's hubby's fault he got the snow shovels out of the shed on Wednesday, salt trucks have not been out and no one remembers how to drive in snow. lol.
