Today I am sharing another holiday card! Inspiration has come from the daily prompts over at Beccy's Place - she is having her sixth annual Month of Holiday Cards Challenge. Day 11 is a Bingo Grid (see below), and I went with Buttons, Red and Green, and Use a Sketch.
The sweet snowman image is called Snowy Snowflake from Beccy's Place Snowfolk set, and I fussy-cut so I could pop him up on foam tape. I freehand-cut a sparkly snowdrift and adhered onto the Merry bingo card from Gecko Galz Alter It Digital Collage Sheets. The joy word art is from Beccy's Place Christmas Candy; the vintage ephemera are from Gecko Galz Altered Christmas (postage stamp) and Gecko Galz 12 Days of Christmas (partridge in a pear tree).
For the buttons, I die-cut some red foil posterboard with Poppystamps Frosty SnowfIake Buttons that I won from KandA Creative Moments in February (thank you, Andrea, I love them!). I used patterned paper from Basic Grey Aspen Frost 6x6" paper pad, a die-cut snowflake banner (La-la Land Crafts) and Baker's twine from my stash.

Wow Kitty, how many amazing details on this Christmas card!! Great work!! There is a lot to see!! The whole design is just adorable, a bit cute and a bit vintage... A perfect mix and a so sweet result! LOVE it!! That paper you used for the background is just gorgeous and the ephemera too! Love the little bow of twine and the sparkling snowdrift, and those precious buttons snowflakes! All is perfect to compliment the cute snowman! Those hanging snowflakes look like lace... Oh,such a delight, they are so delicate and catch-eye!

I think you liked this sketch. :0) I love when I see our friends use our sketch for more than one card. This card is wonderful, too! That little bingo card behind the adorable snowman is genius. And the strung snowflakes remind of what I made in school as a child. Of course my snowflakes didn't look this good. Thank you for joining us at Tuesday Morning Sketches.

ReplyDeleteI love these collage cards you've been making, they're very well done. You're very good at getting a nice balance on your finished project. I love the sparkly snowdrift and the bingo card background. I also like the little collection of ephemera in the bottom corner. I know I keep mentioning the garland of snowflakes, but it really is lovely. Do you happen to know the name of the die? Love it!
