Surfing Duck Beach Scene

Hello, everyone!  I'm back again today with a card to share!  I love to make scene cards with my dies and realized I haven't made one for months. A card like this takes a fair bit of time with all the die-cutting and layering, but I am so happy when it all comes together at the end!  It's a great way to use up those cardstock scraps too!


Digital stamp:  Gerda Steiner Designs Surfing Duck (this was a freebie at one point, thank you, Gerda!)
Dies:  Poppystamps Stitched Landscapes (I used all 3 landscape dies), Cheery Lynn Surf's Up (surf board and palm tree), Lawn Fawn Spring Showers (sun), Paper Smooches Clouds, WPlus9 Wave Border, unknown crab
Other:  Glossy Accents added to duck's sunglasses, Darice 3mm googly eyes on crab

For this card, I decorated the inside:


Dies:  Poppystamps Stitched Landscapes, WPlus9 Wave Border, Memory Box Sandal Border (trimmed off two of the flip-flops)
Clear stamp:  Sentiment (Pink and Main Mermaids)

    Oh, my as if that darling little surfing duck were not enough, you have added wonderful sand, waves, palm trees, and even a cute crab! A great scene, and a bright, happy card! Thanks so much for sharing at Jo's Scrap Shack.

    Kitty, this is a wonderful beach scene, and you have LOTS of detail. I know what you mean about this kinda card is just being putsy...I sometimes just don't have enough patience when I have limited time. You are so creative. Love the duck image.

    Fabulous card and I like how you used all 3 borders for the sand - which I have those cuts so I will be lifting this in the future - turned out fabulous - I think that Crab might be Coastal Crab by Memory Box because I have it and it sure looks the same - have a fabulous day!
