Bookshelf Kitty

Hello, everyone!  Before I get started, I would like to welcome my newest follower -
Le Ghirlande - thank you for joining me!

Today I'm sharing a card I made with Gerda Steiner's Cat in Bookshelf. I received this image for free because I participated in last month's challenge. This is a progressive challenge, so if you play along this month, you will receive a new, free image for April. Yay!  It is fun and exciting to receive a new cute image every month, and I always look forward to it! Thank you, Gerda! Here's a link to Gerda's March challenge!

I coloured the kitty to look like our Snowie!  The heart buttons and love word were left-overs from my heart-themed cards/ATCs last month so I'll be joining the Snippet Playground!

  2. Lovely card. Thank you for your comments on my journal page. Joining the More Mixed Media design team gave me the incentive to make my journal pages. I had never done mixed media before. I have finished two journals so far. I started making the first one to leave for my grand daughters but then I decided to make one for each of them. I have finished two so far and given them to my second and third grand daughters. Some pages are mixed media and some digital. I filled them with encouraging verses to try to help them with their anxiety. I am now making one each for my eldest and youngest grand daughters. I love all your cats. Have a good day.

  12. I love what you did with the background on the bookshelf. I've colored mine, but the background seems so white. I think I might have to CASE this idea. As always, a beautiful card.

  18. Delightful look of a shadowbox with this cute stamp. The kitty looks very relaxed napping among the books, and I love the bright heart button stamps as embellies. This also has a nice look of a quilt about it too! TFS
