Recycling Old Christmas Cards #2

Hello, everyone! Today I'm sharing a couple more cards I made by recycling old Christmas cards/tags. You can see my first batch here if you missed them. I've been inspired by Crafting Vicky, who has a YouTube series on recycling Christmas cards. I make cards for charities so I like to start early with the holiday cards!  All products used are listed below.

Card 1
  • Image:  Recycled Christmas tag
  • Clear stamp:  Sentiment (Momenta)
  • Dies:  Pierced Fancy Nesting Label (Gina Marie Designs), Mini Snowflake (Lawn Fawn)
  • Embossing folder: Cuttlebug Christmas Set
  • Patterned paper:  Forever in Time
  • Other: Holly leaves from my old Dollarama stash

I was inspired by the sketch at Mojo Monday 487:

Card 2
This card cracks me up! The cat looks so dapper, like he was posing for a portrait!

  • Image: Recycled Christmas card, fussy-cut
  • Dies: Scalloped Stitched Oval Frame (Gina Marie Designs), oval (Lawn Fawn), corner (Cheery Lynn), bow (Paper Smooches), snowflakes (Lawn Fawn)
  • Patterned paper: Doodlebug

I was inspired by the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches 393:

I would also like to support these fun challenges: Crafty Catz AG Twist Mainly Green (Card 1) 1/3; Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas AG Christmas UE; Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Extra March UE; Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper March UE; Creatalicious AG Optional Green (Card 1) UE; Cut it Up Think Green (Card 1) 1E; Die Cut Divas Love of Animals 4/4; DL.ART March Linky AG UE 1/d; Sweet Stampin' Christmas AG Christmas 1/2; Unicorn Challenge Go Green (Card 1) UE; Word Art Wednesday AG w uplifting sentiment Wk2 2/5

Note to my followers:  I might not be around for a week or two - I've started to do some organizing/reorganizing in my craftroom and I want to continue!  I spent 3 hours catching up on blog visiting/commenting this morning and I'm still not finished!  I started having to prove I'm not a robot so I'll eventually get around to all I missed!

Thank you for looking at my cards! Wishing you a joyful day!

  1. Love both cards. Organizing is the pits! Making cards is much more fun. And if you are unorganized, you often find treasures in the chaos.
