Winter Deer Scene

Hello, everybody!  I haven't caught up with everyone's blogs yet but I'm working at it - it's slow going as I've missed so much!  I'll be around to visit soon!

Today I'm sharing some cards made with a deer scene die I bought recently. I made two variations. Do you have a preference? For the one on the left, I used white glitter cardstock for the die-cut, and upon seeing it alongside the white cardstock on the right, I realize it's not as white as I thought, although it is sparkly!

Card 1 - Warm Wishes
I used my NBUS deer scene die, so I am joining Darnell's NBUS Challenge #9.

  • Die:  Deer scene (unmarked)
  • Clear stamp:  SugarPea Designs Sweet Treats Christmas
  • Embossing folder: Die'sire Embossalicious Let it Snow

  2. Wow! I love that die, KT, and was going to ask you who made it and saw that you don't know LOL It's nice that it is already made into a scene for you, isn't it? LOVE BOTH CARDS, but if I must absolutely pick a fave, I sorta prefer the first one for some reason. Maybe I just prefer the background paper? But maybe it is the frame. Who knows, because I am slightly whacky! Wishing you a lovely week-end Miss KT, and looking forward to seeing more of your blog cards! I'm sorry that I cannot comment as often as I'd like any more - I really DO care, but I'm just not able. I hope you know that is not a reflection of the affection I hold for you. huggers, de

  4. Lovely die, and a very elegant card. I likes them both, in real life I would prolly opt for sparkly, but that because I'm secretly a magpie :)

  40. Great cards. You asked our preference which is hard. I like the second as it stands out more without the vellum. Both have good points :D Thanks for joining in at Jo's for Funday Friday.

  41. Very pretty! Tough to choose a favorite, but I think I like the one with the sparkly white card stock better as I like the variation in the colors behind the scene. Either way, they turned out fabulously! Thanks for playing with the House That Stamps Built, CHNCC2, and Jo's Scrap Shack.

  42. both cards are so lovely, but think I would prefer the second one, as it has just one colour in the background, sending hugs and love and cuddles or a skinrub when they want it to your furbabys, Marion

  48. Hi, caught your card at Rudy Day, and easy to zip over to see what you've been up to. I love this die, and think each of the cards is just gorgeous. I like the subtle embossing in #1's sky very much, and how great that you were able to do a 2-fer and make each one a bit different. Hope all is well. TFS & Hugs

  49. This is a neat die. Both versions are great. White cardstock is not created equal, it's weird how there can be a whole spectrum of different whites, but there is.
