The fun starts tomorrow!

Hello, everyone!  Just wanted to let you know that I will be participating in the Visions of Sugar Plums Blog Hop this year!  The fun starts tomorrow!  The hop has been organized again this year by Lori of Chouxchoux Paper Art. It's a 3-day hop (December 4, 5, and 6), and there will be plenty of inspiration and ideas for your Christmas and winter projects! There are lots of prizes to be won too! Make sure you come back tomorrow to see my project!  This is my first time participating in the hop, so I'm very excited to share what I've made!  I'm participating in all three days of the hop!


There's another Christmas tradition happening this month too! Diana of DL.ART is holding her Annual Elf Antics Linky again - this is the fourth year! I've been waiting for my Eli to show up, but still no sign of him!  So in the meantime, I looked in my archives and found a photo that I didn't get the opportunity to share last year.

This photo of Eli the elf with Brian's Mom was taken on Christmas Day 2015, at the nursing home where she lived. Eli was hiding in Kay's headband. Sadly, we lost Brian's Mom in June 2016, so Brian and I thought it would be nice to share this photo in her memory.  R.I.P. Kay. We miss you!

    Oh Kitty, this is so sweet but brought tears to my eyes. My MIL died on Christmas Day 3 years ago. Missing her too. Sweet memories. xxD
