I stamped the precious kitty from Your Next Stamp - Cutie Patooties (sorry this set is no longer available). I did some quick colouring with markers and fussy-cut so I could pop him up on foam tape.
I made a little winter scene! I was inspired by the sketch at Your Next Stamp Sketch and Colour Challenge #50 (see below). For the sky, I die-cut purple cardstock using Lawn Fawn Snowy Backdrop and added a die-cut snowy hill (Poppystamps Stitched Landscapes).
In keeping with the sketch, I stamped Your Next Stamp - Cute Alpha Squares with Memento Grape Jelly ink, die-cut with the coordinating die, and adhered them to my scene. I stamped the sentiment from Your Next Stamp - Holiday Snow Globe with the same ink. I added a few pale purple snowflake sequins to finish off my card.
I am also joining October Rudolph Days over at Scraps of Life by Scrappymo!.

Adorable card and I love the purple. Wonderful that you're also supporting the Domestic Violence Awareness Hop but I'm so sorry for your personal experience. How terrifying for you. Glad there was a happy ending. Fabulous project and cause. xxD

Absolutely gorgeous! That kitty reminds me of a cat I used to have who loved the snow and had that same look of joy whenever it snowed. He always expected me to go outside to make snowballs for him to chase.

Your card is sooooo precious. And love your purple sky and the meaning behind it. I forgot you were in Canada for some odd reason I thought you were in England that is why I was surprised you were awake. So my bad, sorry about that. I don't know if my boyfriend and I will ever live together we live 7 miles away from each other, but it is something to scare my Dad with just the thought of five cats, hehe. My boyfriend is WONDERFUL, but he was married once before and the thought of divorce freaks him out. He thinks that everything is perfect so why change anything, and since we have our own homes and furballs it just works out. Since he usually comes to my house, I really don't care - it is fine with me too we have been together for over two years and I do think it would be hard to mix our male cats together.

This little kitty is so adorable! Have a lovely day. 😃
ReplyDeleteOh, I just ADORE this snowy scene in purple!!! I never think to use purple in skies....but I should because it is soooo lovely. This kitty is having a wonderful time in the snow. Mine aren't usually too interested in snow falling, but they have a great time playing in the little skiffs of snow that fly up when they run around.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for participating in the 2016 Cat Lovers Hop!
