A Cup of Tea Warms the Soul

Hello, everyone! Today is Day 2 of the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! Have you checked out the hop yet? We're off to a great start! Hope to see you over there! You can join by linking up a newly created fall-themed project that focuses on coffee, tea, or cocoa. The linky is open until September 30!


Today I'm sharing two more little ATCs - they each measure 2.5" x 3.5" and are the perfect size for a Pocket Letter, which I'm hoping to have completed by the end of the hop!

Card #1

I started by making a watercolour background with Distress Inks using the smooshing technique and some splatters. I stamped the sentiment and added a die-cut frame. I finished it off with a stamped cup and a number of green sequins.

Here are the products used:
  • Stamps:  Sentiment (unknown), cup (Your Next Stamp Hot Stuff Mugs)
  • Ink:  Distress Inks (Wilted Violet,Twisted Citron), Memento Bamboo Leaves, Versafine Onyx Black
  • Dies: Memory Box Pinpoint Rectangle Layers
  • Patterned paper:  Doodlebug Friendly Forest

I found this cute little teacup kitten image on the back of a calendar and I couldn't resist! I added a little bow in her hair and lots of falling leaves!

Here are the products used:
  • Dies: Circle (Gina Marie Designs Dot Studs Circle), bow (Gina Marie Designs Decorative Ribbon Border), leaves (Impression Obsession Oak Leaves and Rake)
  • Sentiment: Deedee's Digis

    These cards are both lovely and fun, Kitty!! The background of the first one is just amazing, fabulous colours!! Love the sentiment, the lttle cup and your preciuos touch of sequins!
    You have made so well to recycle the kitty in the cup of the old calendar for the second card, she is adorable! And the bow give her a supersweet look!! Beautiful autumnal design, love the falling colourful leaves!
