Nautical Happy Birthday

Hello, everyone! Today I am sharing a masculine birthday card with a nautical theme!  I was inspired by this month's Taking it Nautical challenge over at Gecko Galz!  I used a ship image from Gecko Galz Let's Get Nautical Collage Sheet as the focal point. I sponged Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink around the image and mounted it on an angle on a distressed scrap.

Here are the other products used:
  • Clear stamp:  Antique Map (Flourishes)
  • Dies: Anchor, ship's wheel (My Favorite Things), lobster, stitched rectangle (Gina Marie Designs), Happy Birthday (All Occasion Dies - won in a candy from Brenda last fall - thank you, Brenda!)
  • Other:  Yarn (second-hand store), gems (stash)
