Snowman and Cocoa

Hello, everyone!  Before I share my card, I would like to welcome two new followers - genie and Shawna Standish - so nice to have you here!

Today my card features the Stamp of the Month from From the Heart Stamps called Snowman and Cocoa. I love progressive challenges - I received this digi for free (thank you!) because I participated in last month's challenge!

I coloured the image with Prismacolor pencils and added Snow Writer to the white parts of his hat and Glossy Accents to the cup of cocoa.  I used gender-neutral colours so my card would be suitable for either a male or female. I was inspired by sketch 140 at i {heart} sketches:

Sketch140

I die-cut the image into a circle with Nellie's Multiframes and layered it onto a Spellbinders Lacey Circle die-cut. The kraft cardstock is embossed with Darice Snowflake Background. The patterned paper was left-over scraps (BoBunny), and actually all of the cardstock used here was in my leftovers bin - I always reach for the snippets before cutting into a new sheet!  The twine is from American Crafts and I added a snowman charm and three silver snowflake sequins.  The sentiment is a cling-mount from Whimsy Stamps Everyday Moments.

  10. Hi Kitty! Your cards seem shaker even when they aren't! :D I have looked very well at the patterned paper to the left, to understand that there aren't sequins inside! :D :D You are magical!! This cutie looks very well with the snow on the hat and the glossy accent on the cup! And this colours combo is just perfect for anyone! Well done! Love the Lacey Circle die-cut, I have a similar die from Sizzix and I think that this frame is adorable! Very pretty details with the charms and the snowflake sequins, your card is so fun and sweet!
