Snowman Soup - Hot Cocoa Pouch Card

I am back today to share yet another hot cocoa pouch. Yes, I've made a lot of them! Who doesn't like cocoa?! Anyway, it looks like a card on the outside but when you open it up, there's a package of hot chocolate and a candy cane!

The adorable image is from Deedee's Digis, called Snowman Soup. I had a lot of Hot Cocoa Pouches to make so I used the pre-coloured image. (By the way, Deedee's Digis is closing at the end of the year and she is having a massive 75% off sale storewide. This digi set, including sentiments, is on sale for a low 56 cents so you might want to head over and grab a bargain or two! Her sets also include the digital stamp so you can colour the image yourself.) 

The background is embossed with Cuttlebug Snowflakes. I heat-embossed the sentiment from Sugar Pea Designs - Sweet Treats in white on a green scrap and hand-cut a banner shape.  I added a wide strip of blue glitter tape and a red holographic snowflake.

On the inside, I stamped a sentiment from MFT - Hug in a Mug. The die-cut mug is from MFT Warm and Fuzzy.  I inked around the edges with Broken China Distress Ink and added an Impression Obsession snowflake. Strips of snowman washi tape finish it off.

I know some of you are wondering what's going on with my elf Eli... well, Eli has developed a serious crush on another elf that he "met" over at DL.ART's Third Annual Elf Antics Linky! He wanted me to keep it a secret, but the cat is out of the bag!  Here Eli is pictured swooning over her photo. If you don't recognize the lovely elf, her name is Loopy!  Eli thinks she looks like a princess and he is smitten! I have told him it's not going to work out - this is not a singles linky!  I don't know if he's been texting Loopy or not. I hope she plays it cool and ignores him!
