Jenn and Friends - Hot Cocoa Pouch Card

Hi, everyone! Welcome back to the seventh day of the Holiday Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! This is my second post today. The hop ends tomorrow so if you plan to  join, now's the time!  Just link up your winter/holiday projects featuring images of coffee, tea, or cocoa.


I am back to share another hot cocoa pouch card. It looks like a card on the outside but when you open it up, there's a package of hot cocoa and a candy cane!


The adorable image is from Imagine That... Digis by Kris, called Jenn and Friends, and it is die-cut with Simon Says Stamp Stitched Circles. I had a lot of Hot Cocoa Pouches to make so I used the pre-coloured image. I love how it looks paper-pieced! I heat-embossed the sentiment from Stampin' Up Many Sayings 1 in white.  I added a wide strip of patterned glitter tape, a strip of sparkly silver washi tape, and some eyelash ribbon.  I finished it off with a silver holographic snowflake and a few gems.


On the inside, I stamped a sentiment from MFT - Hug in a Mug in aqua and a little snowflake mug from Sugar Pea Designs - Sweet Treats in magenta.  To finish it off, I added a scrap of aqua cardstock and a thin strip of washi tape.

    AWE! Such a precious image!! Gorgeous colors my friend and I just love that sparkly fiber along the side!! Who would not love to receive one of these?!! YUM!! ;)

    Another great coffee pouch card, and with all the coffee pouches you have made, and images you have used, no wonder you use the already colored images...but they look great and you combine such lovely backgrounds and textures into your cards. Beautiful.

    What a fun card Kitty, the colours are fabulous! I love the addition of the fluffy pink fibre and the little bit of silver sparkle. Great snowflake too.
