Gingerbread Cocoa

Hi, everyone! Just one more card for today! I'm running out of time to join Catch the Bug's Christmas Chaos so I need to post this cutie for Day 3 using the adorable Gingerbread Girl - Cocoa, which is still available from Bugaboo Digi Stamps as a freebie (thank you!).  I coloured it with Prismacolor pencils and fussy-cut so I could pop it up with foam tape.


I started with a kraft card base and masked off a strip to stamp the snowflakes from Pink and Main - Snow Sweet with Memento Toffee Crunch. Looks like the Snow Sweet set is retiring and is on sale for $11 so you might want to go over and check it out!  I added a hand-cut banner and heat-embossed a sentiment from Poppystamps You Melt My Heart in white, and then I trimmed it with red glitter tape.

    Love the idea to mask and stamp the strip of snowflakes!! It matches so well with the cute gingerbread girl!! And the glitter tape gives a fab touch to the banner! Beautiful colours combo,too, kraft and red look great toghether!

    Clean and simple and adorable. A card perfect for postage (something I tend to forget to think about when making my Christmas cards...)
