Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop - Day 7

Hello, everyone!  Today is Day 7 of the Fall Coffee Lovers' Blog Hop! Just one more day of fun left!  If you haven't already joined, it's not too late! Just link up a newly created fall-themed project that focuses on coffee, tea, or cocoa. The linky is open until 11:59 p.m. Pacific tomorrow, Friday, October 2. Hope to see you there!


Today I've used a fun image from From the Heart Stamps called Birdbrain Needs Coffee. I coloured it with watercolour markers, fussy-cut, and popped up with foam tape.  

To begin, I created a background by stamping a coffee text stamp repeatedly in Versamark ink on a kraft panel.  I won this stamp from Hetty in one of the previous Coffee Lovers' Blog Hops (thank you, Hetty!). Hetty is an avid coffee drinker, and there is lots of coffee inspiration on her blog!  

I found a couple scraps of fall-themed patterned papers from Momenta in my stash and cut them according to the sketch below.  The sentiment is from the same Birdbrain set.  I added some die-cut Impression Obsession Oak Leaves and two tiny brown gems.

    How fun is it!! This bird remember me... myself!! LOL ... :D at the six of the morning when I live my bed. The eyes seems mine! LOL :D Also my brain needs coffee, and I drink 2 cup of espresso before go to work.

    That bird looks exactly like me in the morning! Great card KT, I love the way you constructed the background and I love the way you coloured the image. The bright yellow really stands out against the more muted browns and greens in the patterned paper.
