Let's Scare Up Some Fun

Hi, everyone!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for Gerda Steiner's monthly progressive challenge. This little Mouse on Broom is so cute - thank you, Gerda!  I coloured him with Prismacolor pencils and added a design on his cape with a white gel pen.

I decided to make a fun little Halloween scene, nothing too spooky or scary.  I started by inking the sky with Scattered Straw, Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, and Spiced Marmalade Distress Inks.  I applied a punched-circle mask to represent the moon before I began. I splashed some water droplets to add texture.

To create the cityscape, I die-cut MFT's Skyline Border in Black and Solid Skyline in Yellow and layered them together. The sentiment is a clear stamp from Inkadinkado and I added a number of die-cut bats from Taylored Expressions Gothic Window Accessories.

I would also like to join the following challenges: Artistic Inspirations AG Twist of Magic UE; Beccy's Place September AG UE; Crafting by Designs Let's Celebrate (Halloween) 2/3; Crafty Friends B is for... 6. I love the way you have done the background for this card KT, it looks fabulous. I especially like the way you spattered it with water... it made me think of stars that are just becoming visible in the night sky. Great image too!
