Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop - Day 4

Hello, everyone!  It's Day 4 of the Fall Coffee Lovers' Blog Hop! Before I share my card, I would like to welcome four new followers - Grapevine, Mary Marin, Susanne Hansen Kleppen, and Tinka's paper wonderlland - thank you for joining me!

I'm still having fun at the Fall Coffee Lovers' Blog Hop! I've participated in every Coffee Lovers' Blog Hop - this is my fifth hop!  I wouldn't miss it! Anyone can join - just link up a newly created fall-themed project that focuses on coffee, tea, or cocoa. The linky is open until 11:59 p.m. Pacific on Friday, October 2. Hope to see you there! The cute little Mouse with Coffee is from Super Sponsor Gerda Steiner Designs (this freebie is still available if you want to snag him - thank you, Gerda!). I coloured him with watercolour markers. I added foam tape and mounted him on a patterned square from an autumn pack and then added two other autumn squares on either side, then layered all on a snippet of patterned paper from Momenta.

I started the card by stamping a leaf background on a kraft notecard with Versamark ink.  The leaves are from Super Sponsor Newton's Nook - Fanciful Florals.  The stamped sentiment is from Super Sponsor Your Next Stamp - Sprinkles Coffee and Tea, and I added a die-cut word from Simon Says Stamp - Sending. I finished off the card with some twine tied in a bow, a silver leaf charm, and several brown gems.

    The blue of the sentiment picks up the color of the cup so nicely and it also makes a great contrast to the fall colors in a beautiful way.
