A Little Birdie Told Me...

Hello, everyone!  There is a big celebration going on over at Freshly Made Sketches this week - it's their 200th sketch! Congratulations, Freshly Made Sketches!  I decided to join in the fun!  Check out their sketch at the bottom.


I stamped a cute kitty from High Hopes Rubber Stamps called Kitty Tag and I fussy-cut him off his tag. I stamped him on the card base as well so you can see all his whiskers!  He's coloured with Prismacolor pencils and popped up with foam tape. The patterned paper is from MME and I embossed the striped panel with Cuttlebug Simple Flowers. The sentiment stamp is from Newton's Nook - Newton's Birthday Flutter.  The fun sentiment continues on the inside:


Such a fun sentiment hehe!  I finished the card by adding a few sequins from Pretty Pink Posh - Marshmallow 6 mm.

    Wow Kitty, Love this embossed panel, it is just a beauty!!! You have had a genial idea to change a striped paper in a very interesting layer! Look so well! And you choosed a lovely embossing folder!! The kitten with the bird are so cute!! You always use sequins and I think they are much more elegant than pearls or strass to give light points to a card! Well done my friend, you are really a fab crafter!!

    This is adorable!! I LOVE the embossing on the patterned paper. I have yet to try that!! That sentiment is FABULOUS and is perfect for that image!! Great take on the challenge!!

    That's a great card. I love the look on that kitty's face, something to do with the bird sitting on his head perhaps! I did some in a similar style recently but with an old dog stamp for a dog charity. Barbxx

    And you really only join 4 challenges...hmmmm its unusual from Kitty hehe it was a joke...but I love that embossed paper under the kitty image clever CAS design and I believe you are one of a lucky girl will win one prize...good luck sweety..
