Christmas in July

Hi, everyone!  I'm still on my blog break but I'm popping in quickly to join a few of the "Christmas in July" challenges. The one that inspired me most is the CASE-ing Christmas challenge and blog hop.

I really don't have any crafty mojo right now, but for this challenge, I only needed to CASE a previous non-Christmas card of my own.  That is something I could do!  I won this adorable penguin called Finn's Scarf from Beccy's Place last month (thank you, Beccy!).  He is just so cute!  I coloured him with Prismacolor pencils, fussy-cut, and popped up with foam tape.


I followed the design of the card that I CASE'd, originally posted here.  


The washi tape and sequins are from my stash, and the stamped sentiment is an older wood-mount from Plaid.

    Your cards are adorable! Love the butterfly and colors on the first, and the penquin is so cheerful on the CASE'd card. So glad you joined us for our CASEing Christmas in July blog hop! :)

    You self-CAS is just a cutie!!! I don't know which of the two cards is the most beautiful, they are really lovely both! This penguin is adorable!! Love the design of these card, with the washi tapes in diagonal and the three sequins!! Very beautiful Christmas CAS today!

    Great card Kitty, you did a fabulous job CASEing your non-Christmas card (which is gorgeous too!) You've done an excellent job colouring the image, the colours are so rich and vibrant, particularly on his scarf. I love the way you've used the washi tape too. Well done!
