Butterfly Coffee

Hi, everyone! It's Day 6 of the Summer Coffee Lovers' Blog Hop, and today I'm sharing a card I made with the awesome Coffee Words from Bugaboo Digi Stamps. I sponged it with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink, fussy-cut, and popped up with foam tape.  


On the base of the card, I made some ink splats with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and added three strips of washi tape.  The bottom one is a lovely wide washi tape from Freckled Fawn, from their April Kit. The coffee cup is sitting on a torn scrap that I sponged with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. 

The butterfly die cut is Memory Box Kaleidoscope Butterfly and Moonlight Butterfly, which I sponged with Vintage Photo and Evergreen Bough Distress Inks. Two brown sequins were added to the body of the butterfly. The sentiment is from Newton's Nook Hanging Around, and I heat-embossed it in white on a scrap sponged with Vintage Photo DI and then die-cut with a banner from Simon Says Stamp Bundle of Stitched Shapes. Lastly I added a snippet of Memory Box Quinn Flourish in the bottom corner, also sponged with Vintage Photo DI.

    yeah love the use of that bugaboo Image and love your arrangement on your card Kitty

    sometimes my son keep me to busy
    yesterday I cook Indonesian and German food
    one day before I cook banana cake and choco cake
    also less time to create and sit in front of compie hehe

    Wow wow wow!! Great card, Kitty!! The coffee mug is just fabulous and love so much this design, in all the details!! wonderful use of splatter and washi!! The butterfly so blended catches the eyes to the focal point and gives sweetness to the composition! Amazing project!!
