April Showers Bring May Flowers

Hi, everyone!  Today I'm sharing a card featuring a little spring scene I made with dies.  I started with the Purrfect Day sentiment from Scribbles Designs, which I printed on white cardstock and then embossed with Darice Cloudy Sky.


I was inspired by Connie's card on facebook here, and I wanted to CASE it.  Here are the dies used: Poppystamps Brighton Border and Curious Cat, Memory Box Petite Umbrella, Lawn Fawn Grassy Border, and Impression Obsession Butterfly Set. I die cut Brighton Border in green, yellow, and pink so I could paper-piece the blooms.  I added pink gems to the butterflies.

    Fabulous background Kitty, the clouds in two layers are just stunning and give to the card a lovely feel of great spaces and wildness!

    You are a complete and total pro at making scenes on your cards - I really struggle with that!! But WOW this card has such a bright, happy feel to it and it is all because of the amazingly well done scene and there are those cute butterflies again - YOU ROCK!!!

    This card is so 'you'. Love the way you've done the double embossing - on the focal scene and also on the background piece. Lots of interest added to this enchanting little scene. Some lovely dies, used most expertly to make a delightful "Kitty" card! TFS & Hugs
