Right on Track with Loads of Love

Hello, everyone!  I'm back again today with a shaker card!  I'm joining Deedee's Digis - March Digi of the Month link-up using this month's digi - Right on Track.  I received this digi for free because I played last month.  It's a progressive challenge so as long as you link up each month, you will receive next month's digi for free.


I opted for the pre-coloured image this time, along with two of the sentiments, and I knew right away I wanted to make a shaker card. So sorry for the glare on the acetate - it was hard to get a good photo. I used Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics to create the frame from patterned paper (Forever in Time), and I added lots of fun hearts, sequins, and confetti to the shaker - actually I think I may have added too much LOL!

After taking the Stretch Your Dies Online Card Class, I was inspired to use my alphabet letter dies for the first time!  I've had these for well over a year - I used my snips to cut them all apart. This is another NBUS item so I'll be joining Darnell's NBUS challenge.  If you don't know what NBUS is, check out the link here.  Thanks to the die class, now I know how to use alphabet letters and line them up properly - thank you, Jennifer McGuire, Day 7, Lining Up Alphabet Letters.  These letters are from Taylored Expressions - Sweet and Simple Alpha - Lower.

    This is so cute! I remember when my grandson loved trains! He would have loved the shaked box aspect of this too!

    This is such a wonderful DeeDee's image. It made up into a super shaker card for you too. I love all the bright colors you've incorporated in the layout design to compliment the festive colors of the digi. Also interested that you took the online class. I debated on it, but things are fairly busy with us just now, so I didn't. I'm sort of wishing I had! TFS & YAY for DeeDee's Digis too. You did a fab job with this one. Hugs

    Choo Choo! This card is right on the cute track. I need to get something made with the train digi also. I'm glad the snow we had is gone & Spring has arrived. We waited till the snow was gone before planting the tomatoes.

    You can never have too much confetti inside a shaker, IMHO, Kitty! I think a lot is perfect for this absolutely FUN choo-choo card!! Great job on lining up those letters!
