Let me tell you about the inky background I created! I used alcohol inks on embossed tinfoil. I got the idea from crafty friend, Linda Kupstas. Colours used were Wild Plum, Red Pepper, Cranberry, Currant, and Silver Mixative. The embossing folder is Cuttlebug Heart Blocks. I mounted the inky embossed tinfoil panel on black and plum cardstock.

ReplyDeleteKitty, fantastic idea - I had not even considered AI's when this Challenge was announced to the DT - GREAT use of SPLAT - and such a beautiful card - I especially like the tin foil atop the cardstock. Did you adhere the foil to cardstock before running it through the embossing folder, or just do the foil all by itself?
