Guest Designer at Uniko Studio

Hello, everyone!  I am delighted to announce that I am a Guest Designer at Uniko Studio this fortnight!  I hope you will join our challenge!  The theme is Love and Friendship - perfect for your Valentine's Day cards - or Friendship cards!

I decided to go with the friendship theme, and my new Uniko Studio stamps arrived just in time! I was excited to ink up my brand-new English Country Garden - Butterflies clear stamps that I won last month! I heat-embossed the large butterfly in Egyptian Gold, fussy cut, and added three gold sequins. The photo doesn't show all the sparkle, but it looks fabulous in person!

For the card base, I stamped the small butterfly repeatedly on a black panel using Brilliance Galaxy Gold, wrapped gold thread around the panel, and layered it onto gold cardstock, which I then affixed to a black card.  I die-cut the Hello (Savvy Dies) in the same gold cardstock and also cut three other Hellos in black and layered underneath to give it some dimension. Lastly I added the word friend with my Dymo Label Maker.

Thank you to Uniko Studio for inviting me to be your Guest Designer! I had fun! Check out my awesome GD badge!

I hope everyone will head over to Uniko Studio to see the inspiration by the Design Team. Our Love and Friendship challenge lasts for two weeks, closing on Friday, January 30, at 8 a.m. GMT.  I hope you can play along!
