And now for my exciting news! I am a guest designer this month at Treasured Times Stamps! Yay! You may be wondering how I got this fun assignment... well, I entered their Monthly Guest Designer Contest over at the Treasured Times Facebook Group, and the card I entered was selected by their DT. I feel honoured and blessed to have been chosen. For my prize, I got to pick a rubber stamp from the Treasured Times store to use on my creation.
I chose one of Chrishanthi's Ppinkydoll's rubber stamps - Bamby and Lilly - it's so adorable and cute! I made my first stair-step easel card! Here's a tutorial for a stair-step fold card, and to this you just add the easel part.
I coloured the image with my Prismacolor pencils, sponged around the edge with distress ink, added Fran-tage all around the image and white glitter on her pompom and collar.
A lot of die cuts were used: Poppystamps Blooming Poinsettia; Joy!craft Ice Crystal Edge; Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders and Forest Border; Impression Obsession Deer Trio, Small Bird Set, Fir Trees, and Picket Fence; My Creative Time Scalloped Stitched Ovals; and Marianne Design Christmas Village. For the trees, I used my Fiskars Wavy Crimper to add texture.
Look who snuck into the photo! Silly Eli, my elf, is a real camera ham - he loves to have his photo taken! Now I can link up over at DL.ART's Second Annual Elf Antics Linky Party.
