I decided to make a special card for my lovely friend, Marion, and I chose an adorable image called Snowball Sam from A Day for Daisies. I coloured it with my Prismacolor pencils and added white glitter all along the snowman's body. This is a stair-step-fold card, and you can see a tutorial here.

You will notice I added two black kitties on the front. That's because Marion has two black kitties! I used my Poppystamps Curious Cat and Sitting Cat dies to cut the kitties out of leftover black snippets. Here's a side view.

Other dies used: Marianne Craftables Christmas Trees, Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders, Memory Box Forest Pine Branch, Impression Obsession Picket Fence and Birch Trees birds, Lala Land Stitched Elements tag, and Memory Box Cosmic Star Set. I like to use leftover snippets for all my die cuts.

I used my Fiskars wavy crimper for the trees and the snow to add texture. I added several colours of stickles on the largest tree. Although not visible in the photos, I added some glittery Christmas gift stickers under the trees. The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps and I stamped it in Ancient Page Cardinal and added some baker's twine. At the front of the card is a triple-loop bow made with my Craft-Dee BowZ (ribbon from Offray).

I love black kitties, I had one black kitty once a time ago... It was my little boy, very big but quiet and so sweet, with fab green eyes.. Now I have six kitties, and bring to eat to 12 stray kitties, but nothing black.

I love this card... makes me miss my sweet Miss Booey, but reminds me of that wonderful "over the shoulder" look I would get when she saw my shadow. She was deaf for the whole time she owned us and did not lose her sight til the last year, but she knew when I came in the room, always. I love this sweet card and as always all of the elements you put into your designs.
