Today I have the honour and pleasure of being a Guest Designer at Crafting by Designs! Thank you so much for inviting me! The theme for our challenge is Get Ready for Christmas, and I have made a shaker card! This will be my third one - they are so much fun! This one features an adorable digital stamp from Your Next Stamp called Waiting for Christmas that I won in a blog hop a couple months ago. Sadly their digital stamps are no longer available, but I still love this sweet kitty! I coloured her with my Prismacolor pencils.

I decided to go with modern Christmas colours here - I love pinks and greens together - my favourite colour combo - for Christmas or any time! The tree dies I used are from Marianne Design Craftables. I stamped a sentiment (StazOn Olive Green) that says Meowy Christmas on a vertical banner that I hand-cut. The sentiment is from Newton's Nook Designs - Newton's Holiday Mischief clear stamps.

Inside the shaker I used lots of sequins from my stash. The green DP is from Lawn Fawn and the pink striped is unknown (received in a prize pack I won from Colette - thank you!). I added a clear snowflake, onto which I affixed a glitterly silver snowflake, die cut from Impression Obsessions Snowflakes, and then finished off the card with more sequins.

Pink and green is one of my favourite combinations too Kitty, and I love seeing non-traditional colours on Christmas cards so that's a double bonus! The image you used is really cute and you have done a great job colouring her into a tabby cat. The tree shaped shaker card is fabulous. Well done!
