Kitten Flower Pot (FTHS image)

Hi, everyone!  I'm back again today because I wanted to play along in From the Heart Stamps I {heart} sketches challenge.  The deadline is only a few hours away so I'm really cutting it close!  I used an image called Kitten Flowerpot from From the Heart Stamps and I coloured it with my Prismacolor pencils.


I really liked the sketch this week because I got to use up a bunch of snippets/offcuts that I had left over from other projects.  Do you save all your snippets?  I do!  All my leftover cardstock and dp, no matter how small!  I keep my dp snippets in a little baggie inside the paper-pad so they're right there when I need a die cut to coordinate with the papers.

Here's the sketch I followed:

The dp is MME Reunion - I love the fall colours in this pad!  I added a number of die cuts:  Flower (Elizabeth Craft), Snail, Butterfly (Memory Box), and Tag (MFT Die-namics Accent It:  Labels and Tags).  The sentiment is from Deedee's Digis Fall Warm-up.   The twine and gem-filled brad are from my stash.

    Darling card! I love the image and your die cut details. Brilliant idea to use a little baggie to keep your snippets with their counterparts. I do keep pretty much everything but I'm definitely not as organized. I have a plastic container I put mine in and then dig, not the best plan.

    I love your card. I love butterflies and kitties! I really like your flower and the layers. It brings depth to the card and interest to the different pieces. This style makes me wander around until I see all the different items used to soak it all in. Nice job!
