Deedee's Digis DT - Harvest Hellos

Hi, everyone!  A warm welcome to my newest follower, Ema M, so lovely to have you here! I took some time last week to make a few DT cards and I had a lot of fun!  If you could see the disorganized mess of boxes at our new house, you would wonder how I could craft at this time, but I needed a crafting break!  I don't like to talk about my health but I am completely exhausted.  I'm taking things a day at a time - things will all fall in place, right!

 Today I am sharing a DT card I made for Deedee's Digis.  The image is from one of Deedee's newest sets called Harvest Hellos.  Just look at the adorable kitty!  I went with a fall-themed card because that's my favourite season and I love fall colours.

I decided to use the precoloured image and fussy-cut around the kitty and veggies and also the pumpkin and leaves and then popped up these parts with pop dots.  The sentiment is also part of the Harvest Hellos set, as is the non-colour image and several other sentiments.  You can see everything you get with this set below.

Here are the other items I used to create my card:
  • Dies: Spellbinders Moroccan Accents, Cheery Lynn Dancing Doily Lace Border, Memory Box Forest Snail
  • Patterned paper: Creative Memories
  • Accents: Leaf (Michaels), flowers, veggies (Dollarama)

    This is a lovely card and your embellishments are perfect. Wish we had those shops here in the UK 'cos I would love to pop out and buy those veggies!! Brilliant colours as well so Autumnal (my favourite season).

    Cute, CUTE, Kitty! LOVE that darling little snail LOL - very sweet. I'm especially partial to all that expert fussy cutting and popping up of the images. Your choice of layers and embellies really brings this image to life! You live so much further north than we do. Are the leaves beginning to show the signs of Autumn approaching yet? I hope not.     Hi Kitty, thanks for checking out TCBH today. Hope you didn't doze off during the read. I am loving what you've done with DeeDee's Harvest Hellos. Those embellies are delightful with the image, and this image is one I loved. Can't beat those pre-colored images when you're trying to get a card out quickly (I'm a slow card maker).It's good that you took a little craft break from moving into your new home. I know how tiring that can be, and it seems to be a never ending chore - for a time anyway. And finding things you need, is another aspect of that, as I always forget the 'safe place that I won't forget where I put it' is! Don't work too hard. The house will be there a long time! TFS & Hugs

    What an adorable and cheerful card, I love that image and the fussy cutting and popping it up add a nice touch that adds another layer of texture to this card.
