Fun-in-the-Sun Penquin

Hello, everybody.  Before I share my card, I would like to welcome my newest follower, Darnell J Knauss - so happy to have you join me!  Darnell is having an NBUS challenge to celebrate 500 followers - why not go check it out - and find out what NBUS stands for.

Today's card was made for a progressive challenge over at Imagine That... digis by Kris.  I enjoy progressive challenges - when you play along each month, you receive the next month's digi for free.  This month's set is called Poolside Penguins and there were so many choices in this set, but I chose the pre-coloured penguin with the beach ball and the "Wishing You a Great Summer" sentiment.

I found some "sand" paper in my stash.  I've had this for many years and this is the first time I've used it (NBUS).  I added a couple of beach-themed digis from Cajoline Scrap - these were freebies at one point (thank you!).  The sun is a die-cut from Lawn Fawn - brand-new, first time I've used it (NBUS).  My honey just bought me a whole bunch of new dies and this is one of them.  I am so happy to have new dies - thank you, Brian!  Lastly, I stamped "Have Fun" on the sun die-cut.
