Card #1
My first card features an image from Digi Stamps 4 Joy called King 1 - Time to Go, which is the stamp for their Monthly Christmas Challenge. I added a star from Clip Art Best and coloured with my Prismacolor pencils. The sentiment stamp is from Stampin' Up and the DP is from MME. The dies are Spellbinders Eyelet Circles and Nellie's Multiframe Circles. I followed the sketch at Christmas Cards with Sketches. Kraft cardstock is Recollections. I kept it CAS with no embellishments since it's for a man.

Card #2
Here's my second card, which I made using an image from a Christmas card I received last year. I hate to throw away a beautiful card when it can be recycled and enjoyed again! So here I simply mounted the image from the old card on dark brown cardstock, added some red ribbon, mounted on a kraft panel, stamped a sentiment (Paper Pleasures), and voila - a quick and easy card. I kept the bow simple and added no embellishments because this card is for a man.
I would like to enter my second card in these challenges:
Moving Along with the Times Snow Cute 3E #1
Party Time Tuesday Anything Goes 2E #1
Sparkles Christmas Baby It's Cold Outside 3E #1
That Craft Place Ribbon/Lace (used ribbon) 3E #2
Thank you for looking at my cards! I enjoy reading your comments! Wishing you a joyful day!
Two lovely cards,love the camel.

ReplyDeleteHey Kitty,
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done! What a great idea to add the star, I can't believe I didn't think of that myself! Love the layout as well. I also love what you have done with the second one. I too hate throwing out old Christmas cards and have a stack of them just waiting to be used. I love the layout for this one too. Thank you so much for linking both of them to my 12 Months of Christmas link up for May.
I should be posting the names of those individuals like yourself who've earned the paper for May, either later today or tomorrow so be sure to pop over in a couple days to claim the new digital paper. I look forward to seeing what you create in June.
Hugs,
Lisa
