Happy Spring

Hello, everyone.  I don't seem to get much time to craft any more!  We haven't moved yet but the house closing was on Tuesday and now we are doing repairs/renovations and painting.  And of course I'm still not finished packing.  So my cardmaking is still on the back burner.  However, I did take some time out today to make a card for Crafty Secrets Heartwarming Vintage.  I love to play along over there and I don't like to miss it.  For this card I used an image from Digital Flowers Printable Sheet DPS-11.  I am so ready for spring - how about you?


Here are the other supplies used:

  • Patterned paper:  Cosmo Cricket
  • Stamp:  Sentiment (Stampin' Up)
  • Dies:  Butterfly (Elizabeth Craft Designs), bird, house, heart offcut (Marianne Designs)
  • Accents:  Dew drops (Robin's Nest), charm (stash), gems, feather, tag, twine (Dollarama)
  • Marker:  Staedtler (for doodled faux stitching around tag)

    Yes I'm ready for spring.....your card beautiful and just shouts spring. I don't think I want to move again, I'm here for the duration, but repairs have to be done.

    I feel your pain! When we moved 2 years ago I was out of my craft room for most of a year, between packing, selling, and establishing at the other end. Moving day was embarrassing as I couldn't hide how much stuff I had from my husband...30 2 cube moving boxes full. Good luck with your move. thanks for joining us at March Linky Party.
