Take Cover, Kitty

Hello, everyone.  Here I am today with (surprise, surprise) another kitty card LOL.  I'm getting an early start on my Christmas cards this year.  I used this sweet image called "Take Cover" from Di's Digi Stamps - it's currently in Diane's sale section here.  I coloured this adorable digi with my Prismacolor pencils and added Stickles to the snow.


I kept this card fairly CAS as I was following a sketch (see below).  The lacy ribbon is from May Arts, the gems are from Studio G, and the snowflake is from Dollarama.  I had the patterned paper in my stash so I don't know the source.  I made this as an easel card - this is the first time I've made this style of easel and it wasn't hard at all.

    I wonder if you heard my laughter when I read that you are creating your Christmas 2014 cards already ....super organized. Mind you, I can see why you would want to use this image so early in the New Year .... isn't it so delightful and shown so beautifully with your awesome colouring and glittering talents.
    What I love so much about easel cards is that both the front and inside can be enjoyed at the same time when the card is displayed and you have certainly chosen a great sentiment for this beautiful card. This card has so much that is shown to such lovely effect, not least the contrast between your delicate lace and the harder feel of the shiny blue snowflake. Oh you talented lady.
