Stocking Hedgie

Hi, everyone.  I'm back today with another Christmas card.  This time I've done some old-fashioned stamping with ink - no digis used on this card.  The cute hedgie stamp is from Penny Black "Christmas Critters" clear stamps set, and the sentiment is from Penny Black "The Wonder" clear stamps set.


I coloured the image with my Prismacolor pencils and added Diamond Stickles to the white part of the stocking.  I stamped the sentiment on the white panel and then embossed it with Couture Creations Joyful Christmas.  The glittery red ribbon and the candy chipboard embellishments are from Dollarama.  The fiber is from Palette Yarns, and the snowflake charm is from my stash.

    Every time I see a wee hedge Hog I think of my darling great Auntie who live in England. She has one as a pet before it was fashionable. This card is absolutely so adorable. the red and green seems to cuddle Hedgie. Thank you for sharing this beautiful art with us at Word Art Wednesday.
