Christmas Wreath Kitty

Hello, everyone.  Today I made a Christmas card.  I followed the sketch at Your Next Stamp (shown below) and I used a pre-coloured digi from Doodle Dragon Studios that I won in a challenge they sponsored.  This sweet image, called EMB Kitty Wreath, only comes pre-coloured, and I thought it would be great for a quick card.  So since it was already coloured, I printed two copies and paper-pieced the kitty's face, popping it up with foam tape, and then added red Stickles to the berries.

I started the card with a white base, covered it with green linen cardstock, and then added two panels of patterned paper according to the sketch.  I affixed the image with foam tape, stamped the sentiment on a red scrap, and affixed to the card.  Oh, and I used my small square punch to make the sentiment into a banner.  Lastly I embellished with some shiny green holly leaves and red sequins.  Here are the supplies used:
  • Digi stampEMB Kitty Wreath from Doodle Dragon Studios
  • Stamp:  Sentiment (Plaid)
  • Ink:  Versafine Onyx Black
  • Cardstock:  Three Birds
  • Patterned paper:  K and Company
  • Punch:  Square used for banner end (Marvy Uchida)
  • Glitter glue:  Stickles Xmas Red
  • Accents:  Leaves and sequins (dollar store)
