Kitty Bookmark

I was inspired by five challenge themes in making this bookmark: 
  1. triangles
  2. recycle
  3. bookmark
  4. plaid
  5. air mail

I triangle-punched a strip of white cardstock six times on the right-hand side and mounted on black cardstock.  I added a strip of plaid patterned envelope (recycled item) to the left-hand side and stamped several tiny cat-themed stamps in black on the right:  postage stamp, black cat, meow, starry sky cat, and paw prints.  I stamped Happy Cat in black on a white scrap and coloured with a black pencil, fussy-cut, layered to black cardstock, fussy-cut again, and affixed to the bookmark.  Lastly I hole-punched at the top and added black ribbon.  Here are the supplies used:
  • Stamp:  Kitty (Hero Arts C4331 Happy Cat), mini cat-themed stamps except meow (Aladine Atelier), meow (unknown, unmarked)
  • Ink:  Versafine Onyx Black
  • Coloured Pencil:  Prismacolor
  • Cardstock:  Recollections
  • Triangle Punch:  (unknown, unmarked)
  • Ribbon:  Offray

    AWE this is lovely Kitty, fabulous wee bookmark, I do love bookmarks, even though I have a kindle (my daughter gave me hers, when she got the kindle fire) still love the feeling and smell of books xxx
