Butterfly Birthday

Here is a birthday card I made - I like how this turned out! 

 

I started by brayering rainbow ink onto a glossy panel and then stamped a stem silhouette repeatedly.  I mounted the glossy panel on purple cardstock and affixed to the card (white card base covered with yellow cardstock).  I stamped the birthday sentiment in black and embellished with a metallic 3-D butterfly sticker and three green gems.  Here are the supplies used:
  • Stamp:  Stem Silhouettes (Stampin' Up!), sentiment (Studio G)
  • Ink:  Kaleidacolor Creole Spice, StazOn Jet Black
  • Cardstock:  Recollections    White Card Base:  Domtar
  • Accents:  Gems, butterfly sticker (dollar store)

    I think your card turned out awesome! I brayed something awhile back and haven't used it yet! I do love that technique! Perhaps this is the inspiration I needed!
