Butterfly... Just Because

This is a card I made for my parents - I like to send them a card every week or so "just because."   I upcycled this little butterfly tag by fussy-cutting the butterfly from one tag and layering it onto another, with the wings folded up to give dimension.  I affixed the tag to embossed blue cardstock, mounted on slightly darker blue cardstock, mounted on a white card base.  I stamped the sentiment in blue on a white scrap, trimmed, and mounted on a trimmed blue scrap.  Lastly I added two butterflies punched from an orange scrap and accented all three butterflies with blue gems.  Here are the supplies used:
  • Stamp:  Sentiment (Sunshine Design)
  • Ink:  StazOn Azure
  • Cardstock:  Recollections, Walmart
  • White card base:  Staples
  • Embossing folder:  Cuttlebug Victoria
  • Butterfly tag:  Michaels
  • Butterfly punch, gems:  Dollarama
