Sending Sunshine to Maddy

I've been busy making another card for Maddy, the young girl who has Acute Myeloid Leukemia (you can read about it here: Cards for Maddy). As I mentioned in a previous blog post, my good friend's daughter died of this horrible disease just two short months ago. So that's probably why Maddy has been on my mind so much. I hope my card will bring some cheer to Maddy as she goes through this painful ordeal.


 

For this card, I used this cute pre-coloured freebie digi from Scrap Happy Paper Crafter   The sentiment is a freebie digi from Desert Diva.  Thank you both!  I mounted the "picture" to look like a Polaroid.  Other supplies used were: cardstock (Recollections), DP (Glitter Max), decorative tape (Loblaws), sunshine stamp (Studio G), ink (VersaFine - Onyx Black). alphabet,  heart stamps, and butterfly accent (Dollarama).  I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:
